Some of you already know I’m a HUGE fan of Zoë Foster Blake and naturally just over a year ago (HAPPY BIRTHDAY GO-TO SKINCARE!) Mrs. Blake released her very own skincare line and DUH! I loved it before I even tried them.
For years I loved her pages in the Australian Cosmopolitan as Beauty Editor, so the girl knows a thing or two about a thing or two.
She’s also penned a number of books, which again, I own all of them!
When I first saw these pads I wasn’t sure if they’ll exfoliate my entire face before it started to dry out. Wrong! This will gently exfoliate your face and down your neck and will not dry out in the process. These pads are drenched, so there is plenty to go around. I also really love the citrus scent (lemon and mandarin essential oils), along with some other great ingredients such as almond oil and aloe vera.
One side of the pad has tiny clear film (the exfoliating side) that helps remove dead skin cells but is gentle enough not to scratch the surface of the new skin underneath. This will help absorb all your products a lot better; ie. serums, moisturisers and masks.
What I like to do is swipe with the exfoliating side for about 60 seconds, then flip the pad around and use the soft side and give it another 60 seconds. After everything is dry, you will feel that your skin underneath is fresh, clean and ready to soak up all the goodness of your products.
